The fact that the NBA lockout is even news anymore is a total embarrassment to what was one a great league to watch and now has become of major sport joke of the world. You have in excess of $4 Billion dollars sitting on the negotiating table with the potential to make so much more and you all can’t figure out a way to make it work?
I feel like I am in the majority when I state that I no longer care about the NBA and I sincerely hope that it all goes away. I am totally fine watching college basketball instead of that joke league. I sincerely hope that they kiss this season goodbye but at the same time I feel for all those businesses and people around those arena’s around the country who are loosing out on all that revenue being generated. I think that is the biggest tragedy in all this is that once again the “little guy” whether it be the small business owner or hourly wage earners that depended on those games.
Those are the people that I feel for and pray that they find another source of income because I would not depend on the NBA coming back anytime soon. Even if they do come back I would have a hard time believing that their remaining fan base which has got to be pretty small by now would be willing to spend money on their games.
Let’s face it they have all made it very clear that they are all there for the money and could care less about the actual sport of basketball or their fans. If they did they would have found a way to get a contract done for their $4 Billion dollar pool. Seriously when you are getting paid millions of dollars and you have the balls to argue with the owners that happen to own your team that you want more of their money? It’s a joke plain and simple I hope the owners just shut it all down kick them all out and start from scratch! What say you webfolk? Tired of the NBA? Enjoying the college basketball season?
